Refreshing Blueberry & Mint Smoothie

It’s 82ºF in Sydney right now, at 8am…it’s not even “summer” yet. The only thing (besides a cold Champagne or pint of ice-cream) that sounds appealing to me right now is a smoothie. So here is my favorite smoothie recipe. I like to add in a handful of spinach and some chia seeds as well if I’m feeling like being super healthy.

Serves 2

  • 2 cups blueberries, frozen
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup almond milk, or any milk of your choice
  • 1 handful mint
  • 1 tbsp honey


  1. Add blueberries, banana, milk, mint and honey into a blender.
  2. Mix until smooth.
  3. Add more blueberries or milk to make thicker or thinner.
  4. Enjoy!
